THE Adeda family has publicly rejects the Administrative Panel Of Inquiry set up by the Government of Delta State that it consists of only Civil Servants with no Family Members, Civil Organization Or Human Right Activists.
The family also rejects the condolence visit to the family that it does not have implicit confidence on the committee.
This was contained in a post made by Lloyd Sodje Adeda, brother of the deceased on his verified Facebook page on Saturday evening.
According to him, “The ADEDA FAMILY Worldwide Rejects The Delta State Government’s Proposed Condolence Visit Over The Gruesome Murder Of Their Beloved Brother “MR EKUEVUGBE ADEDA”.
“REASONS FOR REJECTION, 1. The Chief Prime Suspect, Dr Kingsley Ashibogwu (An Agent Of The Government) And Other Suspects Have Not Been Brought To Book.
“2. The Commissioner who acted as an agent of Government to murder our son is still under the protection of Delta State, and making it impossible for him to answer for the crime.
“The State Government should make a public statement on this before any contact with the Family.
“3. The Family Does Not Have Confidence On The Administrative Panel Of Inquiry, Since it Consists Of Only Civil Servants (No Family Members, No Civil Organization Or Human Right Activist Involved In The Panel).” He added.
It was further gathered that despite the post by Adeda, a high profile delegation from the state government visited family of the deceased on Saturday assuring of the Government’s willingness to get justice for the late Adeda.
